Day of the Virgin of sweety

The month of November is of special significance for the people of Zulia, as during the same are held celebrations in honor of theChinita (equivalent guajirita Zulia) or Our Lady of Chiquinquirá. It is for this reason that during these days, the bagpipe sounds with particular frenzy and joy throughout the Zulia. Of the many festivals in honor of the Virgin, perhaps the most impressive is the so-called Sunrise Piper, in which the people of Maracaibo is assembled on the morning of day 18 in the plaza of the Basilica,to sing to and Mañanitas Chinita Happy Birthday.
According to the tradition of Zulia, Maracaibo reached the Chinitathe waves of the lake. The story goes that one day in 1749, just a simple woman washing clothes on the shores of LakeMaracaibo, when suddenly he saw floating a thin wooden board, which picked up thinking it might be useful to cover the jar of water that was in the hallway of his house. The next morning, when I was straining the coffee, she heard a knock as if someone was calling. He went to see what was happening and wasoverwhelmed with astonishment to see that the planchette was shining and appearing in it, the image of Our Lady ofChiquinquirá. For this reason, the woman began to crymiracle!Miracle!, So hence comes the name of the currentMiracle on Lake Avenue, where was the house of the washer. After what happened, many people came to witness the miracle, for it became the home of the humble woman in a place of veneration of the Virgin by many believers.

La Feria de La Chinita is the name of a religious holiday homewhich takes place every year for three days, from 17 to 19November
The Fair begins with the lighting on Bella Vista AvenueMaracaibo. On the night of November 17, in different parts of the city of Maracaibo, the popular and performed traditional "piperssunrises" marathon concerts that last all morning, as the name-where they are interpreted mainly traditional instrumentsbagpipes Zulia characteristic of the region, including Furr, the cuatro, maracas and tambor.3
On 18 November, the day of the celebration of the Fair, pontificalmass is officiated and performed the "short procession," which includes a lake tour of all the springs of the main ports of the state. The next week takes place the famous "procession of the morning", which is taken the image of the Basilica at three in the morning, that greets the day on the street. That Sunday, the image is uploaded back to altar.4
Other activities also include the "Grand Gala of Beauty", a beauty contest which is elected annually to the Queen of the Fair. The event is broadcast by Venevision through its "SensationalSaturday" .5

This is my favorite food

(Venezuelan shredded beef with beans, rice and plantains)
Pabellón criollo is the quintessential Venezuelan meal. The various components of the dish are a balance of flavors and colors that make a Venezuelan's heart sing: shredded beef, simmered black beans, fried rice plantains and hot rice. Sometimes a fried egg is thrown on the top for good measure.

Ingredients

  • Oil -- 1/4 cup
  • Beef sirloin or flank steak -- 2 pounds
  • Onion, chopped -- 1
  • Salt -- 2 teaspoons
  • Pepper -- 1 teaspoon
  • Water -- to cover
  • Onion, finely chopped -- 1
  • Red bell pepper, finely chopped -- 1
  • Garlic, minced -- 3-4 cloves
  • Tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped -- 2-3 cups
  • Salt and pepper -- to taste
  • Cooked black beans -- 1 recipe
  • Cooked white rice -- 4 cups
  • Fried plantains -- 1 recipe

Method

  1. Heat the oil in in a skillet over medium-high flame. Sear the meat on both sides to brown well, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  2. Remove from heat and place the meat in a large pot with the chopped onion, salt, pepper and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is very tender.
  3. Remove the meat from the pot and set aside to cool, reserving the broth. When cool, shred the meat with your fingers or two forks.
  4. Reheat the skillet, adding more oil if necessary. Add the finely chopped onion, peppers and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  5. Stir in the shredded meat, chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper. Add a little of the reserved broth to moisten and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve with black beans, white rice a couple of fried plantains.

International Celebration!!

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. While there was an underlying religious element in the original celebration, Thanksgiving today is primarily identified as a secular holiday.

Currently, in Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October and in the United States, it is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. Thanksgiving in Canada falls on the same day as Columbus Days in the United States.

Ohh Los Vaqueroooos!
Ohh (Power!)

(Zun Zun)…

(Zun Zun) Rompiendo caderas
(Zun Zun) Ella mató ohh
(Zun Zun) La cosa está buena
(Zun Zun) Bailando en el club
(Zun Zun) Hay química ahh
(Zun Zun) Entre tú y yo ohh

Perfecto mami, estoy bajo tu mandato
Quieres que me quite la ropa, de inmediato
Princesa se le complace
No lo dejes para mañana, lo que pase que pase!
Que pase pase pase, que pase!
Si quieres saber el desenlace, cáigale a la base

(Zun Zun) Rompiendo caderas
(Zun Zun) Ella mató ohh
(Zun Zun) La cosa está buena
(Zun Zun) Bailando en el club

(Zun Zun) Hay química ahh
(Zun Zun) Entre tú y yo ohh
(Zun Zun) Rompiendo caderas
(Zun Zun) Ella mató ohh
(Zun Zun) La cosa está buena
(Zun Zun) Bailando en el club

(Zun Zun) Hay química ahh
(Zun Zun) Entre tú y yo ohh
(Zun Zun) Perdiendo el temooor

(Do, Do, Doble, Do, Do, Doble)

(Zun Zun) Rompiendo caderas
(Zun Zun) Ella mató ohh
(Zun Zun) La cosa está buena
(Zun Zun) Bailando en el club
(Zun Zun) Hay química ahh
(Zun Zun) Entre tú y yo ohh
(Zun Zun) Perdiendo el temooor
